Off-season Content-a-palooza

Hey everyone! Welcome to some offseason content that I think is going to give you an inside look at some of the users in the league. Half the league was nice enough to participate and answer the first round of questions. We have about 3 to 3.5 weeks until the lottery so I’m going to let this one out slowly and try to post a different set of questions or position groups daily(M-F). The more participation the longer the content so if you want to join in just shoot me a DM and I’ll get you added.

The first question I asked was:

What’s the most important position for you to have when making your team list, other than QB?

I got a bunch of different answers so let’s look at them.

– Most important is Corners

– CB

– I know the answer you’d think I’d say is RB cuz of my play style, but honestly they’re pretty easy to develop so I’ll say corner, a great corner is a game breaker

-Pass rush or corner

– I most definitely feel like I value QB significantly more than other users but after that I would say edge rusher.

– My most important positions in the team selection process would be CB and edge pass rusher as I find those to be the most difficult to develop while having the most impact on defense.

– Making my team list is just a randomized list, so no positions are of value to me when it is happening. I like not knowing what I am going to get and adapt and build a team on the fly without months of planning. If anything, QB is the least important position to me to start out with. I like to try and get my QB last when building my teams that way I can choose the exact type I need for the already built team.

– The most important position INCLUDING QB for me is HB. As we’ve seen, having a dominant HB is the main difference between me being a contender and mid.

– Most important: RB, CBs, and Secondary

– Lock down corner

– Corner (secondary). with how easy offense has been the past few cycles, and just madden in general, it’s important to be able to at least slow down the passing attack, so I’m always considering a teams secondary heavily when making my team list.

– Most important position for me is OL

– I’d say having one elite WR who can truly separate is the most important position for my team building. Therefore, I traded for Justin Jefferson both with the Jets & Seahawks.

– I don’t think I hold any specific position in too high of regard when doing team selection, because I tend to target individual players most of the time, but DL and CB feel like the tougher positions to dev/acquire elite talent at so if I can lock that in early, I’m content.

– TE, DB

Definitely had some overlap here with the answers which wasn’t shocking but I definitely thought I’d see more people interested in edge rusher. Seeing HB and OL in there was a little surprising too with how easy it seems HB is to develop and the age old question ‘does OL matter?’
