BL Mock Draft 1-10

BL Mock Draft

Welcome all, to the BL Mock Draft. These selections are based on what I would do/what I think teams should do/what I think will happen. Please note I don’t know your entire plans and needs were based on a cursory glance at your squad. Please enjoy and Go Lionz.

#1 – Justin/Washington Commanders – QB Zach Wyatt (West Virginia)

Justin has been zeroed in on Zach Wyatt all season long and selects him via the Rams pick, traded from the Bills. Zach Wyatt takes over from a Eric Johnson/Sam Howell combo from last season that left the Commanders with just 5 wins. With strong weapons and a capable defence, look for Justin to push for a playoff spot.

#2 – Niko/Miami Dolphins – QB Richard Jacobson (Stanford)

A rough season and a rougher off-season leaves the Miami Dolphins requiring an entire roster reboot. Enter Richard Jacobson, a one-man offence compared to dual-threat QBs like Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray. He’s got the arm to hit Cole Hoover and Jaylen Waddle, with the speed himself to replace Tyreek Hill.

#3 – Wohzi/Pittsburgh Steelers – QB Logan Snyder (Colorado)

Wohzi trades starting QB Matthew Hobson, the #12 pick, #33 and a future #1 for the rights to #3. With no QBs on the roster, a move up here has to signal a QB pick. Enter Logan Snyder, the only QB to rival Zach Wyatt’s arm talent. A stacked offence of Najee Harris, Pat Freiermuth, George Pickens) gets their long-awaited Big Ben replacement.

#4 – Tim/Carolina Panthers – WR George Mikell (Wisconsin)

When George Mikell first walked onto the practice field at Wisconsin, the coaches tried to put him at Offensive Line. The physical freak is a multi-position, multi-sport, multi-world Superstar. Bryce Young needs weapons and George can join Brayden Carr as the Panthers look to climb back up into the playoff picture.

#5 – Bos/New England Patriots – CB Kobi Moody (USC)

He’s tall, long and fast. I’m the Patriots. Thanks, Go Patz.

#6 – Allen/Seattle Seahawks – OT Caleb Zeigler (USF)

Allen trades Riq Woolen for picks #6 and #7. He’s got to have his eye on somebody up here, how about the greatest Offensive Line prospect in NFL history? Caleb Zeigler shattered the 40 yard dash record held by Terron Armstead at the NFL combine. Slots in for the next 15 years opposite Lane Johnson to protect Justin Fields blindside.

#7 – Allen/Seattle Seahawks – EDGE Gilbert June (Texas)

Allen’s front 7 wouldn’t look out of place on a HS team, probably somewhere in Texas! Gilbert June would be in contention for the #1 pick in any other draft and is an absolute steal for a position of need here at 7.

#8 – Jesse/Philadelphia Eagles – EDGE Antwan Hooks (Louisville)

What do you get the man that has everything? Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis pushing the middle. Nolan Smith and Antwan Hooks screaming off the edge? Sign me up, let’s make the strengths stronger.

#9 – Lucky/New Orleans Saints – TE Jeremy Banyard (Auburn)

Jeremy Banyard stole the show and our hearts with his NFL combine performance. Performing at an elite level in every single category he shot up draft boards. Young QBs need safety blankets, what’s safer than an all-world TE that can catch everything. This revamped Saints offence could make some noise next season.

#10 – Matt/New York Jets – QB Carey Kramer (Ole Miss)

Is Kenny Pickett the answer? No.

Matt stands pat at #10 and picks his QB of the future. Breece Hall can keep the pressure off and is surrounded by weapons in JSN, Ridley, Mingo and Brian Anderson.

Anonymous BL GM: “Carey Kramer is the best QB in the draft, he should go #1”
