Madden 23 – pre-cycle Secondary Rankings

Rankings based off of adjusted overall and tied to the Median ovr across the 5 positions – you would get different results if you did it off of the average overall or the sum of ranking per position

 

• Dolphins and Packers have the clear long term best 5 man secondary with depth and youth across the board – to me the Packers edge it due to their corners
• Bills cling on to 3rd with a good core of young corners. Their safetys are terrific but ageing and will need to be replaced soon
• To me the Giants have the worst long term secondary with no reliable starters or easily devvable youth (at least Falcons have Terrell and Bears Johnson)
• Rams are surprisingly low and Ramsey will have to carry the them if they are to put up a decent pass defence
